Originating from the latest generation of diesel engines developed by Kubota, the N4.140 marine engine is ideal for sailing yachts as well as sport fishing boats.


Ease of use
Thanks to its 3.8 liter displacement and its direct injection system (E-CDIS) with 4 valves per cylinder, the ease of use of the N4.140 will make it the ideal engine for your boat.
The maximum power develops already at low rpm which gives you the opportunity to sail much more quietly with less fuel consumption. The two balancing shafts as well as the special piston coating further reduce engine noise and vibration.

 

Powerful and compact
Used on heavy sailing boats, the N4.140 proves its robustness and reliability. Due to its small dimensions it can be placed in an engine compartment usually used for engines with much less displacement. This engine will be your best friend during fishing trips or trips off the coast.

 

Environmental
The N4.140 meets the most stringent emission requirements worldwide, including RCD 2013/53/EU EPA Tier 3 BSO 2.

The Purchase Process: How Does It Work?

If you are working with a yacht broker for the first time, it’s helpful to understand how the purchase process works and what you can expect from us.

Orientation and Making an Offer

Do you have a yacht in mind? You can schedule a viewing without obligation to determine if the yacht meets your expectations. A technical inspection is not necessary at this stage. 

Based on your impression, you can make an offer. We act as an intermediary and negotiate on your behalf with the yacht's owner.

Price Agreement and Purchase Agreement

Once we have agreed on the price, we will draw up a purchase agreement. This usually includes a clause making the purchase subject to a survey by an expert. 

When signing the agreement, we request a 10% deposit. This amount will be held in a secure third-party escrow account.

Survey and Finalization

An expert will carry out a comprehensive survey of the yacht. If any issues are found, the seller will resolve them or compensation will be offered if you prefer to handle the repairs yourself. 

If the issues are too significant, you can cancel the purchase.

Final Payment and Delivery

Once the issues are resolved and you are satisfied, you pay the remaining 90%. This amount will also be securely held in the third-party escrow account. Once you confirm that the yacht meets your expectations, you will sign the delivery document. 

Only then will the funds be released to the seller, and we will schedule the official handover.

Handover and Transfer

Together, we will carefully review all documentation so you know exactly what you are purchasing. We will also inspect the yacht to ensure all issues have been addressed. Of course, we will provide you with explanations on the onboard equipment and key systems. 

Once everything is clear and meets your satisfaction, we will officially hand over the keys and your new boating adventure can begin.
