Description

The Valkvlet 10.60 OK from 1999 is a beautiful example of classic Dutch craftsmanship. This timeless motorvlet was built by P. Valk Yachts in Franeker and designed by Th. Gillissen – both synonymous with quality, reliability and a characteristic style. The steel hull, deck and superstructure guarantee durability and stability, while the warm mahogany interior with classic ship floor, blue upholstery and matching curtains ensures an atmospheric stay on board.

The layout is practical and comfortable: a spacious saloon with inside steering position, a complete galley, a wet cell with electric toilet and shower curtain, and a forward cabin with a generous V-bed. Thanks to the convertible saloon bench, there are four sleeping places available in total. The double-glazed windows ensure comfort without condensation, and with facilities such as Eberspächer hot-air heating – even under the cockpit tent – it is pleasant to stay, even in colder weather.

The Vetus Deutz DT43 engine (105 hp) is indirectly cooled and delivers powerful, reliable performance. Thanks to bow and stern thrusters, manoeuvring is easy. Technically, this punt is very complete, with recent batteries, a Victron combi inverter/charger.

With her open cockpit, neat finish and solid equipment, this Valkvlet 10.60 OK is an excellent choice for those looking for a classic, comfortable motor yacht with character. Located in our sales marina in Roermond, ready for the sailing season.

The Purchase Process: How Does It Work?

If you are working with a yacht broker for the first time, it’s helpful to understand how the purchase process works and what you can expect from us.
1

Orientation and Making an Offer

Do you have a yacht in mind? You can schedule a viewing without obligation to determine if the yacht meets your expectations. A technical inspection is not necessary at this stage.

Based on your impression, you can make an offer. We act as an intermediary and negotiate on your behalf with the yacht's owner.
2

Price Agreement and Purchase Agreement

Once we have agreed on the price, we will draw up a purchase agreement. This usually includes a clause making the purchase subject to a survey by an expert.

When signing the agreement, we request a 10% deposit. This amount will be held in a secure third-party escrow account.

3

Survey and Finalization

An expert will carry out a comprehensive survey of the yacht. If any issues are found, the seller will resolve them or compensation will be offered if you prefer to handle the repairs yourself.

If the issues are too significant, you can cancel the purchase.
4

Final Payment and Delivery

Once the issues are resolved and you are satisfied, you pay the remaining 90%. This amount will also be securely held in the third-party escrow account. Once you confirm that the yacht meets your expectations, you will sign the delivery document.

Only then will the funds be released to the seller, and we will schedule the official handover.
5

Handover and Transfer

Together, we will carefully review all documentation so you know exactly what you are purchasing. We will also inspect the yacht to ensure all issues have been addressed. Of course, we will provide you with explanations on the onboard equipment and key systems.

Once everything is clear and meets your satisfaction, we will officially hand over the keys and your new boating adventure can begin.
