Description

This beautifully maintained Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.9 AC from 2016 combines timeless design with reliability and cruising comfort. Built by the renowned Dutch shipyard Linssen Yachts and designed in collaboration with Anne Elzinga, this steel motor yacht guarantees quality, solidity, and a comfortable sailing experience.

On deck, a practical and safe layout has been chosen, with non-slip gangways and a beautifully teak-clad aft deck. The all-round stainless steel railing features integrated, fold-out stainless steel steps on both sides, ideal for effortless boarding and disembarking. At the aft, the integrated swim platform with rubber bumper and a fold-out stainless steel swim ladder with teak steps offers additional comfort while swimming or mooring.

The cockpit is equipped with a gray canopy that can be fully zipped out, allowing flexible use in all weather conditions. The entire structure exudes quality, thoughtful functionality, and luxury, without being overdone.

Inside, you'll find a warm, classic interior with cherry wood trim, a white leather ceiling, and beige leather upholstery. Large, gray-tinted windows set in aluminum frames provide abundant light and a pleasant sense of space. The saloon features an L-shaped seating area and a separate dinette, alongside a spacious, well-equipped galley with a Trident 3-burner induction cooktop and a 110-liter WAECO refrigerator (including a 6-liter freezer compartment).

The layout offers plenty of comfort for longer stays: the owner's cabin is located aft and features a freestanding double bed and a private bathroom with an electric Jabsco toilet, washbasin, and a glass-doored shower. Forward, there are two guest cabins—one with a spacious double bed in the bow and one with two single beds to port. The second bathroom is located to starboard and is equipped with a separate shower and a second electric toilet. Thanks to the Linssen Easy Sleep Convert System, the saloon settee can also be easily converted into an additional double bed.

For technical comfort, this yacht is excellently equipped: a quiet and fuel-efficient Volvo Penta D3 engine (110 hp) with only 1004 hours, bow and stern thrusters with remote controls, hydraulic steering, a WhisperPower generator (6 kW), a Mastervolt inverter/charger combination, and heating via an Airtronic hot air system. Hot water is provided by a 60-liter Quick Nautic boiler, which operates on both shore power (220V) and engine heat.

On board is a Fusion MS-RA205 audio system, centrally controlled from the saloon, and Raymarine navigation equipment, including a chartplotter, autopilot, and VHF radio. The vessel is CE-certified in Class B, suitable for coastal waters and sea conditions up to wind force 8.

This Linssen Grand Sturdy 40.9 AC is in exceptionally good condition and is immediately available for viewing at our sales marina in Roermond.

The Purchase Process: How Does It Work?

If you are working with a yacht broker for the first time, it’s helpful to understand how the purchase process works and what you can expect from us.
1

Orientation and Making an Offer

Do you have a yacht in mind? You can schedule a viewing without obligation to determine if the yacht meets your expectations. A technical inspection is not necessary at this stage.

Based on your impression, you can make an offer. We act as an intermediary and negotiate on your behalf with the yacht's owner.
2

Price Agreement and Purchase Agreement

Once we have agreed on the price, we will draw up a purchase agreement. This usually includes a clause making the purchase subject to a survey by an expert.

When signing the agreement, we request a 10% deposit. This amount will be held in a secure third-party escrow account.

3

Survey and Finalization

An expert will carry out a comprehensive survey of the yacht. If any issues are found, the seller will resolve them or compensation will be offered if you prefer to handle the repairs yourself.

If the issues are too significant, you can cancel the purchase.
4

Final Payment and Delivery

Once the issues are resolved and you are satisfied, you pay the remaining 90%. This amount will also be securely held in the third-party escrow account. Once you confirm that the yacht meets your expectations, you will sign the delivery document.

Only then will the funds be released to the seller, and we will schedule the official handover.
5

Handover and Transfer

Together, we will carefully review all documentation so you know exactly what you are purchasing. We will also inspect the yacht to ensure all issues have been addressed. Of course, we will provide you with explanations on the onboard equipment and key systems.

Once everything is clear and meets your satisfaction, we will officially hand over the keys and your new boating adventure can begin.
