Description

The 1999 Pikmeer Kruiser 12.50 OK is a robust and stylish motor yacht designed by renowned Dutch yacht designer B. de Groot. Built at Jachtwerf De Groot in Grou, Friesland, this classic vessel combines solidity with a timeless appearance and a functional layout. The yacht is constructed of steel , with a hard-chined hull that guarantees stability, excellent course handling, and comfortable cruising in various waters. The deck and superstructure are also made of steel and finished in white, while the windows are made of aluminum profiles with double glazing, offering comfort and a modern look.

The cockpit is spacious and open, with a classic, straight layout that combines practical functionality with robust durability. The boat features hydraulic steering , with full control of the rudder, throttle, bow, and stern thrusters from the inside steering position and partial control from the outside, allowing optimal maneuverability both inside and outside. The single rudder is made of steel, the keel is continuous, and the propeller shaft is water-lubricated, minimizing vibration and wear.

The interior exudes a light, classic maritime style with solid teak, heavy moldings, and PVC flooring. The saloon is finished with white fabric upholstery , while the cockpit is upholstered in white faux leather , creating a fresh and harmonious look. White curtains complement the teak and light upholstery beautifully. The owner's cabin, located forward, features a spacious freestanding double bed, while the saloon settee easily converts into two additional berths. This provides comfortable sleeping accommodations for four people . The layout is functional, with a spacious saloon, comfortable cockpit, and efficient access to all living areas.

The galley is equipped with a 4-burner stainless steel Spinflo gas cooktop and a 110L Coolmatic electric refrigerator with freezer , making cooking on board simple and practical. The bathroom facilities include a lockable shower cubicle, separated from the rest of the bathroom by a curtain, a wooden bench in the cabin, and an electric Raritan toilet. Hot water is provided by an 80-liter boiler , which can be heated either by engine heat or via 220V, ensuring there is always plenty of hot water available.

For comfort in all weather conditions, the boat is equipped with two Eberspächer heaters: a hot air heater and a 4 kW Car Parking Heater, which heats the spaces quickly and efficiently.

The Vetus Deutz DT64 diesel engine delivers 159 hp with 6 cylinders and is reliable thanks to indirect cooling, where coolant circulates in a closed system and the heat is transferred to the outside water via a heat exchanger. The vessel has two steel fuel tanks with a total capacity of 860 liters and is equipped with extensive instrumentation, including Vetus Deutz fuel, oil pressure, and temperature gauges.

Electrically, the Pikmeer Kruiser is equipped with three service batteries (12V, 130Ah), a starter/bow thruster battery (12V, 130Ah), a stern thruster battery (12V, 130Ah), a Mastervolt Combi 12/1200-50 battery charger and inverter, a 95A Bosch alternator and a 300W solar panel with Victron MPPT regulator.

On board, the boat is equipped with electric bow and stern thrusters , an Autohelm navigation system with compass, log, depth sounder, and a Shipmate RS 8300 VHF radio. Outside, there are stainless steel railings all around, boarding openings on both sides, an integrated teak swim platform with a fold-out stainless steel ladder, a white cockpit cover, and faux leather outdoor cushions. For safety, bilge pumps, fire extinguishers, a gas bottle locker with drain, and a self-draining cockpit are provided.

In short, the Pikmeer Kruiser 12.50 OK is a classic, robust, and well-equipped motor yacht that combines comfort, safety, and functionality. It offers a bright, tasteful interior, spacious living areas, reliable technology, and comprehensive equipment, making it ideal for both short day trips and longer voyages on inland and coastal waters.

The Purchase Process: How Does It Work?

If you are working with a yacht broker for the first time, it’s helpful to understand how the purchase process works and what you can expect from us.
1

Orientation and Making an Offer

Do you have a yacht in mind? You can schedule a viewing without obligation to determine if the yacht meets your expectations. A technical inspection is not necessary at this stage.

Based on your impression, you can make an offer. We act as an intermediary and negotiate on your behalf with the yacht's owner.
2

Price Agreement and Purchase Agreement

Once we have agreed on the price, we will draw up a purchase agreement. This usually includes a clause making the purchase subject to a survey by an expert.

When signing the agreement, we request a 10% deposit. This amount will be held in a secure third-party escrow account.

3

Survey and Finalization

An expert will carry out a comprehensive survey of the yacht. If any issues are found, the seller will resolve them or compensation will be offered if you prefer to handle the repairs yourself.

If the issues are too significant, you can cancel the purchase.
4

Final Payment and Delivery

Once the issues are resolved and you are satisfied, you pay the remaining 90%. This amount will also be securely held in the third-party escrow account. Once you confirm that the yacht meets your expectations, you will sign the delivery document.

Only then will the funds be released to the seller, and we will schedule the official handover.
5

Handover and Transfer

Together, we will carefully review all documentation so you know exactly what you are purchasing. We will also inspect the yacht to ensure all issues have been addressed. Of course, we will provide you with explanations on the onboard equipment and key systems.

Once everything is clear and meets your satisfaction, we will officially hand over the keys and your new boating adventure can begin.
