Used boat: end of season After the summer, there are often more used boats for sale in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Do not be tempted to make a hasty choice. Use the autumn to get your bearings. Have you signed the purchase contract? No problem, in the winter you still have enough time for possible adjustments, maintenance and paperwork. So you are well prepared for the water.
New boat: November or December Are you interested in a new boat? Then make sure you start buying in November and December. This way you have enough time to have your new boat adapted to your personal wishes before the new sailing season starts.
