Description

This 2003 Fairline 58 Squadron is a spacious and comfortable 17.55-metre motor yacht, built by the renowned British shipyard Fairline Boats and featuring the distinctive design of Bernard Olesinski. Her deep-V hull, dual helm stations and powerful propulsion make her well suited to both relaxed inland cruising and longer passages on open water. With CE Category B certification, the yacht was designed with comfortable and reliable cruising in a wide range of conditions in mind.

Once on board, the generous proportions and practical layout immediately stand out. From the aft deck, you enter the bright and spacious saloon, with a comfortable seating area to port and the galley to starboard. Further forward are the dinette and the lower helm station. The interior is finished in high-gloss cherry wood, giving the yacht the warm and classic atmosphere typical of many Fairline yachts from this period. Below deck, the yacht offers three cabins with a total of six fixed berths. The owner’s cabin is located fully forward and features a freestanding double bed. Amidships are two guest cabins, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Two spacious bathrooms, each with a separate shower, make the yacht particularly comfortable for longer stays on board.

The galley is well equipped for extended use on board, with a four-burner electric ceramic hob, microwave and several refrigerators. In addition to the refrigerator in the galley, there is a second unit in the utility and laundry area below the galley, as well as another refrigerator on the flybridge. The latter two were renewed in 2020. The yacht has also been modernised in several other areas over the years. Raymarine Axiom 12 chartplotters, Raymarine P70RS autopilot and a Ray90W VHF were installed in 2020. The yacht is further equipped with AIS, a Waeco reversing camera and a Raymarine loudhailer.

Propulsion is provided by two Volvo Penta D12-715 diesel engines, each producing 715 hp and driving conventional shaft lines. With approximately 1,900 engine hours, these engines provide suitable power for a yacht of this size. Manoeuvring is assisted by both electric bow and stern thrusters. For independent stays on board, the yacht is equipped with a 17.5 kW Onan generator, a Mastervolt Mass Sine inverter and an extensive battery bank; all six batteries were renewed in 2024.

The yacht has also benefited from several recent comfort and maintenance upgrades. The air-conditioning system, which provides both cooling and heating throughout the yacht, was renewed in 2025. New antifouling was applied in the winter of 2025/2026 and both toilets were renewed in 2026. On the flybridge, two new blue biminis were fitted in 2026, while the aft cockpit can be enclosed with a blue cockpit cover dating from 2024. The flybridge therefore serves as a true second living area, complete with its own helm station, refrigerator, grill and generous seating and lounging space.

The exterior layout is equally practical, with full stainless-steel railings, an integrated teak-finished swimming platform, a Besenzoni gangway that also serves as a tender lift, and two electric mooring winches on the aft deck. On the foredeck, triple fender baskets are integrated into the railings on both sides. The stainless-steel Delta anchor was renewed in 2021 and can be operated both from the foredeck and from the helm station. Available at additional cost is a 2014 Williams Turbojet 385, powered by a 120 hp Textron 850MPE engine and showing approximately 180 engine hours.

With her generous interior volume, three-cabin layout, large flybridge, dual helm stations and the various technical and comfort-related upgrades carried out in recent years, this Fairline 58 Squadron offers a well-balanced combination of classic Fairline design and practical usability. She is equally suited to longer stays on board and comfortable cruising with family and guests.

The Purchase Process: How Does It Work?

If you are working with a yacht broker for the first time, it’s helpful to understand how the purchase process works and what you can expect from us.
1

Orientation and Making an Offer

Do you have a yacht in mind? You can schedule a viewing without obligation to determine if the yacht meets your expectations. A technical inspection is not necessary at this stage.

Based on your impression, you can make an offer. We act as an intermediary and negotiate on your behalf with the yacht's owner.
2

Price Agreement and Purchase Agreement

Once we have agreed on the price, we will draw up a purchase agreement. This usually includes a clause making the purchase subject to a survey by an expert.

When signing the agreement, we request a 10% deposit. This amount will be held in a secure third-party escrow account.

3

Survey and Finalization

An expert will carry out a comprehensive survey of the yacht. If any issues are found, the seller will resolve them or compensation will be offered if you prefer to handle the repairs yourself.

If the issues are too significant, you can cancel the purchase.
4

Final Payment and Delivery

Once the issues are resolved and you are satisfied, you pay the remaining 90%. This amount will also be securely held in the third-party escrow account. Once you confirm that the yacht meets your expectations, you will sign the delivery document.

Only then will the funds be released to the seller, and we will schedule the official handover.
5

Handover and Transfer

Together, we will carefully review all documentation so you know exactly what you are purchasing. We will also inspect the yacht to ensure all issues have been addressed. Of course, we will provide you with explanations on the onboard equipment and key systems.

Once everything is clear and meets your satisfaction, we will officially hand over the keys and your new boating adventure can begin.
